Pitcher cannot move on the mound, so they rely strictly on their curve to pitch to bad contact. This makes the computer more apt to hit the ball, and any at-bat could be a HR, so it's more suspenseful.
Pitcher cannot be subbed out after a pitch is thrown that inning, so you'll have to be aware of your pitch count if you don't want to throw beach balls.
If you're ahead in the 9th inning, you must bring in your closer. This way, if it goes into extra innings, you risk not having anyone left when your pitchers get tired.
